As Chief Transformation Officer, Greg Why brings more than 30 years of experience helping organizations scale, accelerate growth, and unlock enterprise value through strategic transformation, M&A integration, operational excellence, and business modernization.
Before joining EFE, Greg served as Managing Director at Hellman & Friedman. Prior to that, he spent more than 13 years as an Operating Partner in the core private equity fund at Bain Capital, where he focused on optimizing equity value and driving earnings growth across a wide range of industries. Earlier in his career, he held investment and operating partner roles at Audax Group and Parthenon Capital, and began his career as a manager at Bain & Company. He has also served on the boards of Apex Tool Group and Interior Logic Group.
He holds a master's degree in business administration from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School and a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Bucknell University.
